Description
The Tempodrom in Berlin is a multifunctional center located in the heart of the German capital. It is a key venue for various public events, including concerts, musicals, circus shows, theater productions, sports competitions, and conferences. Approximately 180 events are held here annually, attracting over 350,000 spectators. The history of the Tempodrom dates back to 1980, when Irene Mesinger used her inheritance to purchase a circus tent. In 2001, a new building was erected on the site of the former Anhalter Bahnhof train station. Architects from Gerkan, Marg & Partners preserved the tent's original shape, paying tribute to its historical significance. The complex houses two arenas—the Large and Small—as well as the unique Liquidrom area. This spa offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a saltwater pool accompanied by a variety of music styles and lighting effects. Guests can also enjoy a sauna, steam rooms, and a heated outdoor pool. If you're planning a visit to the Tempodrom in Berlin, it's recommended to purchase tickets in advance. A detailed schedule of events and schedules is always available on our website.
